Love Notes: From Suzie of Bees’netta

Love Notes -- November 23rd, 2009 -- 1:15 pm

Suzie Sorenson makes the hottest bags (I’m personally pining after this one, pining!) and her blog is a wonderful blend of craft, funk and inspiration (including of the wedding kind!). This Chicago girl’s got serious style. And her farm wedding in the works—it’s going to be downright amazing. We were so thrilled when Suzie sent us a little ‘Love Note’—literally, some super sweet and funny notes her boyfriend (soon-to-be hubs!) has written for her over the years. When he got there though, he found that I had already decorated it with flowers and candles—to surprise him later that night! Knowing that he had flubbed both our romantic surprises, he left the following poem: “Though you might now think me a fool who plays with his tools and buys you flowers at Jewel, shows up too early with romantical motives and sees beforehand your display full of votives, keep it in mind, though it may sound taboo, that truly and deeply, this beard is for you….”
